1975 FLUMINENSE retro jersey: In Brazil, one of the most legendary jerseys is that of Fluminense, recognizable among a thousand with its green, red and white stripes. It was during a trip to London in 1904 that its founder, Oscar Cox, fell on a red and white green shirt and decided to make it the jersey of Fluminense. The dominance of Flu during the first part of the century is impressive, with eight titles of champion of Rio between 1906 and 1919. It was then necessary to wait until the 1970s to experience a new absolute reign. Fluminense won the first Brazilian championship in its history in 1970 (with an all-white jersey!), Then won the Rio championship four times from 1971 to 1976. In this invincible team, we find in particular goalkeeper Félix and lateral Marco Antônio, both World champions with Brazil in 1970 and, from 1975, the genius Rivelino.
